Introduction: Direct Install Metal Free “DIMF” Microduct Assemblies consist of tubes with a smooth or ribbed inner surface that enables an air blown installation of micro cables. The micro ducts are sheathed with one layer without moisture barrier. It provides excellent protection from the physical environment withstanding significant amount of pressure by pulling, and it is easy to branch off for network expansion. Direct Install Metal Free duct is for installation duct and sub duct. This product will install in the existed infrastructure to maximize DIMF advantage which helps to block the water from the extreme wet soil condition. It is recommended to earth regular interval with use metal free or aluminum products Application: The tight protected duct assemblies consist of a number of microducts with an inner low friction, antistatic surface that enables installation of air blown fibers cable. The duct assemblies are bundled with a single HDPE sheath depending on configuration. The design makes the duct assemblies especially suitable for installation into narrow existing ducts (pipes) or pipes occupied with cables or other obstacles Operation Features: The duct assemblies are available in several versions with 1 to 7 microducts. Each microduct has an outer/inner diameter of 12/10 mm. These are suitable for installation of air blown fibers • For installation in existing ducts • 1, 2, 4, 7 over-sheathed ducts • 12/10 mm microducts • Low friction inner surface for maximum installation lengths • silicone coated inner tube • Material HDPE Inner tube and Outer sheath • Maximum Air Pressure (Blowing) 15bar Temperature Performance: Storage and Transportation [°C]: -40 to +60 Installation [°C]: -20 to +50 Operation [°C]: -40 to +60 Mechanical Performance Test compliance: Tensile Performance: IEC 60794-1-21 Method E1 Bend: IEC 60794-1-21 Method E11 Kink: IEC 60794-1-21 Method E1 Impact: IEC 60794-1-21 Method E4 Crush: IEC 60794-1-21 Method E3 Inner Clearance: IEC 60794-5-20 Ann.E Marking: Duct assemblies have markings showing the tube length. The individual microducts are numbered and also identified by their color and position in the bundle.
