Direct Install Aluminum Microduct is another way to deploy blown fiber optic infrastructure ducting pipe. It involves installation of sub-duct into an existing ducting pipe. This method is usually chosen when the environment is considered as brown field, and has the Aluminum tape which helps to block the water from the extreme wet soil condition. The outer sheath is made of PE, providing excellent protection from the physical environment.

Introduction: Direct Install Aluminum “DIAL” Microduct Assemblies consist of tubes with a smooth or ribbed inner surface that enables an air blown installation of micro cables. The micro ducts are sheathed with one layer without moisture barrier.
